For this month’s visit to the atelier feature, we wanted to take you behind the scenes of one of the most meaningful launches in our young brand’s history: the JB Ander Chelsea Boot.

If loafers are the soul of JB Ander, the Chelsea boot is our evolution. A style built for winter weather, city pace, and year-round refinement. Throughout 2025, our team worked closely with our Italian shoemakers to translate our modern-meets-heritage design principles into a silhouette that could handle more: more movement, more weather, more versatility.

Every detail was obsessed over. The height of the ankle. The curve of the toe. The balance between the sleek upper and the utilitarian outsole. Even the pull tab was refined again and again until it felt like an extension of the boot, not a functional afterthought.

What makes this Chelsea truly JB Ander, though, is the craftsmanship you don’t see unless you’re standing on the factory floor:
