A Father's Day Note from Our Founder

This year, Father’s Day reminds me just how much of who I am—and why I started JB Ander—is because of my dad.

My father is one of the hardest-working, most inspiring people I’ve ever known. He’s not a man who ever looked for shortcuts. He taught me that real success is built the long way: with discipline, with care, and with integrity. Watching him build a life for our family through perseverance, grit, and heart set the foundation for everything I believe in.

When I began building JB Ander, it was never just about shoes. It was about honoring a way of life—one where quality matters more than trends, where hard work shows up in every detail, and where what you wear tells a story about what you value. That ethos is deeply personal for me. 

JB Ander is about attainable luxury. It’s for those who appreciate fine craftsmanship but don’t believe you should have to compromise quality for accessibility. Our shoes are handmade by master artisans in Italy—real people whose dedication and skill remind me of my dad’s own work ethic. And just like he did, they show up every day to create something lasting, something beautiful, something made to be worn with pride.

This Father’s Day, I’m not just celebrating my dad—I’m thanking him. For teaching me what it means to invest in yourself. For showing me the value of showing up, every single day. And for instilling in me the belief that if you do the work and do it well, it matters.

To every father out there who’s showing their kids what real drive looks like—we celebrate you.
